Sonic Air Systems provided Crunch Pak with a customized solution, the Sanitary Cold Air Knife System, equipped with HEPA In-line Cooler. This innovative system utilizes a blower-powered air knife to deliver high-velocity cold airflow at low pressure, effectively removing wash solutions from the apple slices. The HEPA filtration ensures food contact cleanliness, while the Cool-Air™ feature helps retain the freshness of the apple slices. The Blower Motor Assembly is housed in a wash down-duty enclosure to withstand frequent wash downs and maintain hygiene standards.

Crunch Pak achieved remarkable results by implementing Sonic's Sanitary Cold Air Knife System. Over 90% of the wash solution is effectively removed from the apple slices, ensuring their freshness, higher quality, and appealing appearance for packaging. Additionally, the extended shelf life of the apple slices contributes to the overall success of these healthy and tasty fruit snacks.
